Great Year for Maritime Country Music Fans!!!

It is a great year to be a country music fan in the Maritimes this year. There are a number of major events, festivals and concerts are taking place here. Starting with the Maritime Countryfest on June 20th, 2015 at Officer's Square in Fredericton, NB. Fans can see many great artists at this event. The Roadhammers, Johnny Reid, Joe Diffie and Sundy Best. Next up is the always major event of the summer the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Cavendish, PEI on July 10-12. This event will play host to many artists from upcoming acts to current headliners. The event takes place over a number a days and will operate 3 stages all operating at the same time. Fans can see acts such as Eric Church, Keith Urban, Brantley Gilbert, Dallas Smith, Jimmy Rankin, Kira Isabella, High Valley, Jess Moskaluke and many more.
Halifax, NS, will be honored with hosting the Canadian Country Music Week from Sept 10-13 with the live awards show taking place on Sept 13 at the Scotiabank Centre. What an opportunity for the city and fans to see the best artists in Canada as well as shining stars of tomorrow. I am sure we will see stars like Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, Jess Moskaluke and Terri Clark to name a few.
Now, lets talk about Casino, NS in Halifax who have been hosting Country Music Artists and continue to bring in Country Artists leading up the Canadian Country Music Week. The Schooner Room has already had great performances from Dallas Smith,Sundy Best, Tim Hicks, Chad Brownlee, Jess Moskaluke, Bobby Wills, Bands on the Run Tour consisting of Blackjack Billy, Doc Walker, and The Roadhammers. Still they have more great artists yet to perform such as Emerson Drive, Amanda Riley, and Samantha. The best part is that some of the shows are Free for fans. So come out and see their Free Music Fridays as they will have great artists playing every Friday.
I hope that this trend continues for the Maritimes as we love our country music. Please get out and support these events and get your tickets early before they are sold out. 2015 will be a tough year to top!!!
