6 Finalists for the CCMA Discovery Program announced.

The Canadian Country Music Association announced today the six finalists for The Discovery Program-Atlantic Canada region. The CCMA have partnered up with Music Nova Scotia, Music New Brunswick, Music Prince Edward Island, Music Newfoundland and Labrador as welll as Cavendish Beach Music Festival for the pilot project.
The six finalists are:
Kevin Davison, NS
TJ King, NS
Katie McGarry, PEI
The Secrets, NFLD
Jason Benoit, NFLD
Tyler Deveau, NB
All six artists will come together for a boot camp in Halifax,NS June 8-11 for some professional learning and training as well as a special showcase for stake holders. They will also perform at a showcase during the Cavendish Beach Music Festival July 10-12 in Cavendish PEI. A winner will be announced at CBMF and will earn a spot to perform during CCMA Music week being hosted in Halifax, NS in September.
This pilot project will no doubt be successful in helping East Coast artists boost their talents and music careers. I see this program running for many more years to come. I know for one that I am excited to see each of these great artists perform.
