Campbell Woods entertains at The Carleton Bar and Grill.

Campbell Woods is an up and coming musician on the Halifax scene. I didn’t know much about him, except for what I heard on a few grainy YouTube videos. I had a chance to enjoy his show at The Carleton and what a pleasant surprise. His songwriting is very personal and straight. As I was listening all I could think of John Denver, James Taylor with a dash of Cash. Pretty good company I must say. Keep an eye out for him as he is trying to put together an album, but in the meantime you can catch him at a variety of venues around town. Photo by Scott Thieu
